Selous Kulinda Camp

Speke says – “This is a great all-round camp, super staff, good home cooking style meals, excellent safari guides and fantastic value for money. The addition of private plunge pools in the deluxe rooms are incredible and well worth the modest cost increase. The only thing to note here is the location is outside the park so you will need to take a short trip to the main gate and sign in before starting your safari but this process is very quick so shouldn’t put you off.”

Selous Kulinda Camp lies just outside the Nyerere National Park boundary, just 10 minutes from the main gate, on the bank of the mighty Rufiji River. This permanent tented lodge offers comfortable accommodation with a good range of facilities and is fantastic value for money. The main thatch building, with its inviting lounge areas and al-fresco dining under the African night sky, creates a magical ambience. Overlooking the Rujiji River in Tanzania, the camp boasts a stone-terraced area with a small swimming pool – a serene oasis between safari adventures. Guided walking, boat, and driving safaris showcase the reserve’s diverse ecosystems, offering an unforgettable exploration. With its harmonious blend of natural beauty and well-appointed facilities, Selous Kulinda Camp promises visitors an exceptional escape into the heart of the African wilderness.
