Mushara Lodge, part of the Mushara collection of four properties, is another of our favourites for the east of Etosha, only 10 kilometres from the entry/exit of Etosha and on the private 25km2 Mushara reserve. Activities available focus on game drives in the Etosha National Park with excellent guides and can be arranged as a morning or afternoon safari activity.

The centre of the lodge is a large and beautiful thatched building where you will find a small but well stocked library, a bar with a lovely fireplace and an extensive wine cellar, a comfortable lounge, a gift shop and dining area. Outside there is a terrace where meals are often served and on the manicured lawn there is a beautiful swimming pool and sun loungers.

The ten well spaced-out chalets are arranged in a horseshoe shape around the swimming pool. These are very spacious and come equipped with mini bar, mini safe, tea and coffee making facilities, air-conditioning and ensuite facilities including a toilet and shower. Outside there is a veranda with table and chairs and a further comfortable chair with footrest. There are a further two single rooms, in one block with a triple room and also a family house with two ensuite bedrooms, kitchen and a big lounge and dining room.
