Kalahari Farmhouse is located in the Kalahari on the banks of the ephemeral Auob river near to the town of Stampriet. As the name suggests this lodge is based on a farmhouse in style, which continues to the rooms as well. The main lodge, surrounded by beautiful gardens with impressive palms and small bridges over streams that are particularly pleasant, is where you will find the bar, comfortable lounge, restaurant, and gift shop. The restaurant has an open fire for the chillier nights and a veranda for dining under the stars on warmer evenings. There is also a swimming pool on a further terrace that is a lovely place to relax.

In front of the main farmhouse, you will find the 11 chalets, two with interleading rooms and one with four beds, perfect for families. In keeping with the farmhouse style the rooms are painted white with some nice colour coming from the soft furnishings. Each room comes with a small table and chairs in front of a decorative fireplace, tea and coffee making facilities, air-conditioning and are en-suite with toilet and shower. The lodge does not offer activities, but guests are welcome to visit the farm next door which makes for an interesting visit.
