The vast majority of accommodation in Dar es Salaam are large international standard hotels whereas Oyster Bay is a small, stylish, chic and high standard option, by far the best accommodation in the city. The large main building is where you will find a lounge and dining room which leads to a covered terrace, perfect for al fresco lunch and evening meals. Leading on from there is the beautifully manicured garden with a swimming pool and sun loungers where you can relax after or before flights.

The large suites all have a contemporary African design and are very much a pleasure to stay in. Each suite comes with either a king size or twin beds and a lounge area with sofa as well as a writing desk, WiFi, air-conditioning, and satellite tv. The impressive en-suite bathroom comes with a free-standing bath, toilet and walk-through shower and the rooms are finished with a balcony that opens to the ocean and catches the sea breeze.
