Mabli Mbali Katavi is one of only two accommodation options in Katavi, the other being Nomad Chada. This permanent lodge has a good range of facilities and a superb location within the vast plains of Katisunga which is renowned for huge herds of buffalo at certain times of year, but wildlife is present throughout the year. The main area is a large and impressive wood and thatch building that houses the lounge with free WiFi, dining area, bar and a small library. Leading out from here you will find extensive decking, that offers stunning views over the plains, with a further comfortable seating and also a campfire which is the most fantastic spot for pre-dinner drinks and to share the days adventures.

The 10 large safari tents are all raised on wooden decking and occupy the edge of the Katisunga plains. Each room comes equipped with a double of twin beds, electric lighting, a writing desk and chair and a luggage rack. The en-suite facilities include a flushing toilet, hand basin and shower. The room is finished with an elevated decked veranda with comfortable chairs and a coffee table. The perfect place to have your morning coffee before a game drive.
