Kwihala is a frontier-style camp that offers unparalleled access to the park’s large populations of big cats, buffalo, and elephant. With only six beautifully designed tents and full en suite facilities, Kwihala offers an intimate and unforgettably authentic safari experience. The central part of camp is a large canvas tent that houses the comfortable lounge, bar and dining area, with WiFi, although the delicious meals served here are often taken al-fresco by candle and oil lamp. Just in front of the main tent is a firepit which serves as a pre-dinner meeting point, a fantastic place to relax after a safari with your favourite drink in hand. Activities here include game drives but also walking safari with armed ranger.

The six large canvas tented rooms, including one family tent, all come equipped with a double, twin or triple beds as well as bedside tables and lighting, a floor lamp and a writing desk and chair. The en-suite facilities include a flushing toilet, twin basins, and a step-up bucket style shower. A shady veranda with chairs and a small table as well as a comfortable chair finishes off this lovely, tented room. The family tent includes one double and twin beds.
