Park Hyatt
- 5 Star
- Avoid from March to May
- High standards, beautiful sea front location
Park Hyatt is the main competitor for the Serena Inn and there are some similarities between the two hotels. Firstly, the location is just a stones throw from the Serena, within the town and very close to the key attractions, and also on the sea front affording stunning views of the beach and Indian Ocean. Like Serena, the Park Hyatt is made up of two interesting and beautiful buildings, a seventeenth-century mansion, and a newer residence. The Park Hyatt has a total of 67 rooms including 11 suites and, as you would expect from a high-quality brand, there are an extensive range of facilities available.
Key facilities available here include a beautiful bar and comfortable lounge area, a fantastic swimming pool and sun lounger area that overlook the beach and Indian ocean, and a number of dining options serving local and international cuisine, including two al-fresco areas that look out to the ocean. Further facilities include an excellent spa that offers a variety of treatments, a fitness centre, 24-hour room service, and free WiFi throughout.
There are a fairly large number of room categories here, all with a contemporary style with regional touches and modern technology. The entry level rooms are the Park twin or king which looks out to the town and comes with a satellite TV, air-conditioning, mini bar, tea and coffee making facilities, mini safe and en-suite facilities that include a separate shower and bath. Then there is the Park view king or twin rooms which are the same as the entry level rooms except these face the ocean and have sea views. The Park deluxe twin or king are the same as the entry level rooms but also have a private terrace or balcony with sea views. There a number of suites available which range in facilities and cost, for further information on these please get in touch and we can provide full details of these.
