Namibrand

Ancient, endless and awe-inspiring, exploring the Namibrand may well end up being the highlight of your Namibia travels. Part of the Namib-Naukluft desert (the world’s oldest desert) and spanning over 215,000 hectares, it is perfect for those looking to extend their time in Namibia’s spectacular South. The majority of accommodation here are amongst Namibia’s most luxurious, offering the opportunity to wake up to panoramic sunrises peeking over the dunes, but there are options for all, including sleeping under the stars.

For us, the juxtaposition of the sand dunes against the petrified dunes is truly remarkable, surrounded as they are by vast open space in which oryx, zebra and antelope are dwarfed by the sheer scale of the space around them. Explore on guided drives or on foot to get the best insight into this area.
