North Damaraland

Rhino in Damaraland

Located between the Skeleton Coast, Southern Damaraland and Etosha National Park, Northern Damaraland epitomises the vast remoteness of Namibia at its finest. Home to desert-adapted elephant, rhino, and lion, which reside in the area alongside giraffe, zebra and antelope, this is a land of mountains and plateaus, with dusty roads winding through everchanging landscapes.

Some lodges are located so remotely, that the final tracks are truly suitable for 4-wheel driving only – if that’s the case, transfers will be offered! There are a number of ongoing research and conservation projects in this area – please let us know if this is of interest.

Accommodation Options

The accommodation that we feature is just a snapshot of the sort of accommodation that is available and not the only options that we work with, the portfolio of properties that we work with in Africa is one of the largest of any agent, but we don’t feature all of these simply because there would be too many!
