Machweo House is one of our absolute favorites for Arusha. Located just outside of the hustle and bustle of Arusha city this is perfect for relaxing before or after flights. With only nine rooms in total this is a small and intimate hotel. There are three suites in the main building, each with a large luxury bathroom, and six cottage suites located in the grounds with en-suite bathrooms. Each of the nine rooms are furnished with a double king-size four-poster bed, a flat screen satellite tv, minibar, safe, complimentary Wi-Fi and a balcony with beautiful views.  

There is a pleasant focus on wellness here with a steam room, sauna, floodlit swimming pool, yoga and large range of massage treatments available. Machweo is also host to, in our opinion, the best restaurant in Arusha. Chef Axel, who honed his culinary art in several European Michelin-star restaurants, delivers exceptional African and European cuisine based on seasonal specialties.
