Nasikia Migration Camp
- 3.5 Star
- Best between June to March
- Large and very comfortable accommodation
Nasikia is a mobile tented camp that follows the migration around the Serengeti so is a good option to consider for both the north and south of the Serengeti. There are two large tents in the main area of the camp, one with a bar and comfortable lounge, where you will WiFi available for simple tasks, and the other for dining. Both have a pleasant veranda which are great spots for relaxing and taking in the views of the incredible Serengeti scenery. Just in front of both is the fire pit area where everyone gathers for pre and post dinner drinks and to chat all things safari.
The large rooms here are very pleasant, with most home comforts catered for. The main area of the bedroom includes either a double, or twin, bed with bedside tables and a large chest at the bottom of the bed with extra blankets if you get chilly. The en-suite bathroom includes a private flush toilet and gravity shower and the room is finished off with a shady porch that includes comfortable chairs to enjoy the bush and wildlife from the comfort of your tent. If you prefer to spend your time, when not on safari, in the open then there is also a veranda with additional chairs.
