Nomad’s Lamai is nestled in and among a rocky kopje with a high and enviable position that affords some of the most stunning views of the Serengeti out there. Not far from the Mara River, this is a great location when the river crossings are due although the resident wildlife viewing is consistently excellent year-round. The scenic Lamai Wedge is well known for having a varied topography with rocky outcrops as well as vast savannah and this combination makes this a very interesting and beautiful place to explore. The main area here, a beautiful wood, thatch and mud style building is where you will find the comfortable lounge with a fireplace and viewpoint and a separate dining area with indoor and al-fresco dining options. The layout of both are carefully designed to make the most of the incredible views. A short distance from the main lodge is the swimming pool area which, again, has the most breath-taking views.

The eight large rooms are beautifully appointed and decorated with natural tones with either a double or twin configuration, with family rooms as well. En-suite facilities include a double sink, flushing toilet and shower. The rooms is finished with an expansive decked area with seating where you can relax while not on safari and see if you can spot any of the local wildlife. For those that are travelling with a large family or small group there is also a completely private part of Lamai that you take exclusive use of which also has extensive facilities and an excellent private team.
