Ubuntu Migration Camp
- 4 Star
- Best – year round
- Follows the migration around the Serengeti
Ubuntu migration camp follows the colossal herds of the migration as they journey around the Serengeti, so this is a great option to consider for both the south and north. Owned and operated by the fantastic Asilia Tanzania, the camp is packed up and moved twice a year to ensure you are in the best possible location. The camp follows a tried and tested layout of a main lounge tent with comfortable furnishings, to relax enjoy the wildlife from, and a dining tent for breakfast and lunch with evening meals often served outside under the stars. There is also a campfire area for pre and post dinner drinks, the perfect place to unwind after your safari adventures of the day.
The eight tents here, including one family tent, are very comfortable, this is no basic tent, think more along the lines of a hotel room that happens to have canvas sides and is set in one of the finest wildlife viewing areas in the world. Each have plenty of space inside to walk around with either a king size or twin beds, en-suite bathroom with flushing toilet and ‘on demand’ hot shower. They also have a porch for relaxing in the afternoons when you are not out on safari.
